Happy Easter or Resurrection Day
1 Corinthians Chapter 15
1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto (to) you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye (you all) have received, and wherein ye (you all) stand;
2 By which also ye (you all) are saved, if ye (you all) keep in memory what I preached unto (to) you, unless ye (you all) have believed in vain (pointless).
3 For I delivered (told) unto (to) you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Jesus Christ shed His blood on the cross in order to pay the price for your sin.
Salvation today is received when one places total faith in the finished work of Christ on the cross.
Salvation is a free gift that cannot be earned through human or religious good works.
The gospel today is really simple.
God loves you and Christ died for your sins, and it is through faith in what Christ has already done, that mankind can be saved from eternal damnation and separation from God.
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.
